Reconnecting with Katie Chapman, My Patient Connection to Last Year’s Georgetown Jingle

I heard from Katie’s Mom last week that Katie got to deliver a thank you speech to Hyundai for their generous donation to Georgetown University Hospital’s Pediatric Oncology Survivor Program. While watching the video on You Tube I noted how much she has grown and how very poised she was and continues to be. I am so proud to know Katie through The Georgetown Jingle. Adding an Interesting Element to a Master Bathroom Renovation

Adding an interesting element to a Master Bathroom renovation produced this elegant result. Maryland Interior Designer, Wendy Danziger of Danziger Design, worked on this lovely Potomac, MD interior detail with Marina of Architectural Ceramics. By carefully placing a tile mosaic pattern both underneath the client’s nickel claw and ball foot tub and inside of the shower, we achieved the unity the large bathroom lacked in the past.

The results speak for themselves…

Details, Details, Details – This Maryland Interior Designer Knows the Design is in the Details

There’s no doubt about it – details make a difference.

In a recent kitchen renovation collaboration, we incorporated the following details…
(the kitchen is still under construction in these pictures, so please pardon the dust)

Cool backsplash tiles…opera glass tiles in taupe, olive and white surrounded by olive porcelain tile…

Creative and unusual foot details on the island…

A two-sided glass fronted cabinet…

A built-in message board that has been fabricated from cork and covered with commercial panel fabric…

And finally, architecturally interesting cabinet and drawer pulls…

DETAILS MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
