April Mood Board

April 26, 2013  |  No Comments »

April’s mood board is inspired by April showers on an otherwise quiet Spring morning. The dresser and night table are shown in a quiet cream finish inspired by the off-white tulip that blooms after the morning rain. Fabrics remind us of the color of water coming from the sky with forms of vines, stylized florals, and a garden trellis. The lighting shapes remind us of rain drops on the petals of a flower. When you wake up in this bedroom you are greeted by the glorious Springtime and all it has to offer (minus the high pollen count).

July 23, 2009  |  2 Comments »

Ribbons, and bows, and tulle, oh my!Our initial preparations for the Georgetown Jingle have begun! After a few visits to some fabric and craft stores in the area, we’re feeling good about our theme, “Children’s Tea Party”. The Georgetown Jingle raises funds for the Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, Blood and Marrow Transplantation Program at Georgetown University Hospital. We’re thinking of the magic of a tea party filled with make-believe and precious memories – not to mention tea cups, bows, delicious treats, and sparkle! Keep checking back as we continue with our preparations. Only 144 days left until the magic begins… The Georgetown Jingle – December 1-14 – The Four Seasons Hotel, Washington, DC.
